Tei Tei Taveuni – Sustainable Farming for the Future

We have replanted a lot of new palms in our coconut plantation over the last few years and will end up with 600 new acres of coconut Palms by end of first quarter 2021.

The old plantation is organic certified and the new section of palms will be certified too before they goes into production.

We believe that sustainable farming is the only way forward for the future of our world and everyone in it. We have to practice farming in a sustainable manner.

10 years ago we and some other farmers formed a NGO called Tei Tei Taveuni who’s aim is to promote sustainable farming on our Island. We have done that in different ways over the years with soil schools, farm group training on own farms and family demo plots working with different donars and organizations along the way.

Because of all the above we were asked to participate in a TV series called Green Pillars currently running on Fiji One.

You can view the two episodes featuring Tei Tei Taveuni below.
